Title: Zero Cell Rune

Description:
One of the most tedious parts of crafting Frontier weapons is having to open countless boxes just to find a suitable weapon. If you don’t get the one you need, you then have to break the extras down into fragments and try to enchant them later. This whole process is extremely time-consuming and honestly not very enjoyable.

I believe many players would agree that removing the need to open box after box would make the system much better. It would feel far more motivating and rewarding to work toward finding the perfect weapon.

One suggestion I have is to remove box drops from the maps and replace them with Zero Cell Runes, distributed across bio6 maps. Then, unenchanted weapons could be purchased from an NPC.

Why is this a good idea?
I think this idea would increase the number of people doing bio 6, increase map profit, and stimulate the market.

What risks or downsides does it have?
I don’t see any

none

I think this is a great idea as well, I think many people stay at main opening boxes and recycling the items, for a very long time.

A suggestion I have to that as well is to include the Weapon Fragments to that somehow, so players who have farmed Zero Cell don’t get too punished (for the time invested in farming and opening these not so enjoyable boxes).

Big +1 for this. The ‘box-opening simulator’ is easily the most tedious part of Frontier crafting. b :y switching to a Zero Cell Rune currency, we’d see a much healthier gameplay loop where players spend more time actually fighting in Bio6 and less time fighting with their inventory space.

Key reasons why this works:

  • Progress over Luck: It turns a frustrating RNG gamble into a tangible goal. Every run feels rewarding because you’re making steady progress.

  • Better Economy: A stackable rune is way easier to trade and price than hundreds of random unenchanted weapons, which helps market liquidity.

  • QoL: It respects the player’s time.

If the NPC prices and drop rates are tuned correctly, this is a win-win for both the players and the server’s longevity.

So something similar to automatic/glacier equipment enchant? Sounds complicated and a hassle to impliment since I would assume the runes are removable or upgradable in order to deal with existing enchanted weapons and a way to handle lesser desired runes.

Personally, I think something simple like direct box to enchant ticket exchange would be easier to impliment and help streamline the enchantment process.

Dont think I agree, or I might not get your idea.

Going from fast read weapon and move to another to multiple clicks to enchant and check results sounds slower in many ways.
