Hi everyone, we have a BG rules belong with skill adjustment to fit fair in pvp.
Almost all classes are following the rules, and now new classes like Gunslinker appear, making us wonder about their damage. I don’t know whether they need to join the Skill rules in BG or not.
Thank you

There might be some skills on rebellion that shouldn’t be working as intended, like vanishing buster’s ability to target players in hide/cloak/stealth.
Since it is considered a single target skill, and not an aoe ground target, it shouldn’t be possible to target characters under hide/cloak/stealth without first revealing them with a single target skill. But currently, as long as you have maya purples, rebellion can bypass this.
Just imagine a ranger with maya purple with the ability to target hidden characters with aimbolt.

And still Rangers nerf from WoE are not applied in Bg, which means Ranger can kill you outside of the screen
And Rebel is squishy thx for no rebirth…
But the skills gives great potential for utility or burst, which is neat.

Yeah sorry, you can’t compare a 9 cells range skill to an almost screen wide aimed bolt

@Raton
Okay, allow sorcs to target hidden characters with dispell then
Its the same 9 range, does the same as vanishing buster.

@aewuu so if ur problem is the dispell part why do u compare it with aimed bolt, I do agree that it hitting enemies in hiding is a bug ( it doesn’t targets cloaking nor stealth enemies)

@Raton
It was a comparison that there is no single target skill that allows you to hit hidden targets. Because aimbolt is a damage skill, and vanishing buster is also a damage skill, with dispell properties. Not to mention both range?

i have none of knowledge about the Rebel skill style but im sure they have huge dmg and can finish everyone even in tank gear with 1 hit. So i just ask for surround them by the rules of BG ( Skill adjustment ), of course if needed

First of all, if there’s a bug then the right way to go about it is to report the bug. Aside from that, I don’t really think that Rebels need any damage adjustments. It’s a very difficult class to play with: no shields, low mHP pool (if I remember correctly), they do have snap but it’s super janky compared to Sura’s… honestly playing it is more painful than anything - I think there are easier classes with the same, if not more kits compared to Rebel. Plus, it is guardable with Pneuma.

@tamagoyaki
I dont mention about how hard they play, how difficult the item they need to have
i just wonder the class that determine as a DPS class can go free without a skill check in BG, sound like dangerous, they can deal a unrated dmg and destroy everyone, of course as they wish, or they can hide with a middle/ low equipment but still play good and get no trouble in here, in a group of rules players
But if they are non touch and can play without rules, i will and prefer to switch to play Rebel, it is not hard if you really want to play, i think so

@123 I understand what you mean, but the only response I have to that is: go try play Rebel, sir!
