Hi GameMasters,
Hope you all are doing well.
I would like to suggest something if possible.. To eliminate kill stealers (whether intentionally from players or to future bots). Is it possible for you to code the game mechanics if the monsters/mobs/even MVPs are already targeting your character then some random player tried to kill steal your mobs/MVPs from you, their attacks/skills will miss 100%?
I know this will not eliminate the kill stealing 100% but at least give chance to those players who are legitimately getting those mobs for them to kill whether for farming or experience.
Thank you for your kind consideration.

There is already a noks mechanic, though it requires you to tag them first.
As for mvps, they have never been rule wise claimable. mvps are global prey.
I recommend not mobbing big groups, but go for a big enough mentality.
Since this is only a issue on high population maps, big mobs are not a good idea to begin with.
Thus for me personally, i don’t see what you are requesting outside of that wich is allready included in the game.

Oh.. I didn’t know that there is already a no KS mechanic already. I mean I’m hoping the mechanic would be applied immediately (no tagging needed)
With regards to MVPs, fair enough that it is global prey..
Just suggesting if it is possible not to tag the KSers anymore.. like just once the attentions of the monsters/mobs are already in you, it should be enabled immediately
Sorry, just a newbie here (less than a week old) that’s why i didnt know that there is already a no KS mechanic already but need to tag them first.. BTW, how do we tag them?

@mokonamodoki143 I believe “tag” simply means to attack them, etc. I could be wrong.

@CannonMeat Why ist it invalid?
Yes, there is a noks option but that honestly does as good as nothing.
I have it daily that i got 6-7 mobs behind me.. a hyperactive biolo on drugs teleports into screen (wich gives me a lagspike) and just straight up kills my mob. Usually i can’t even say who it was because they are very quick to port out again.
This is actually an issue by now. And i can say with 100% certainty that only 1 out of 6 was an accident on the ks.
I one hit all of my farmed mobs - there is no “tagging” to protect it

@mokonamodoki143 I disagree that grabbing the attention of monsters or getting targeted by monsters should enable KS protection.
The tagging should be necessary to show an “intent” to kill the mob. If the mobs are protected just by getting targeted by the mobs,
- A large amount of mobs would be immediately protected in smaller maps like Thanatos. This would be a problem as a lot of people just run around the map.
- Since people aren’t always killing every mob on the map, so a lot of mobs are protected that the players don’t plan on killing.
- Mobs will get protected when people are teleporting around the map (but this issue could be resolved if noks is removed if a player tps).

Someone really should do something about it..
The amount of times someone fly wings right into you and just immediatley fires their skill, it’s getting ridiculous.
I have only met 2 or 3 ppl that take 2 seconds and check first before they kill.. everyone else is sorry but just completely inconsiderate and greedy.

@Bahira Farming is usually a brainless task, so people let go of their restrictions and cautions, to simply get it done as fast as possible. People are not greedy, they are just unaware, and careless, because @noks exists. I also thought this way when I joined novaro, but I quickly realized why people do it. It’s a race to beat the clock, and if you’re mobbing, consider your mob a target. You have the tools, but you don’t seem to have the reaction time to protect yourself. Perhaps this is actually a skill issue, or rather, carelessness on your part. You can easily adapt to these types of people, even if you have slow reaction to them. You really shouldn’t just base someone’s auto-play as some greedy venture. It’s mindless grinding at it’s best.
