Title: Slot machine but for event coins
Description:
Just as stated in the title, I was hoping that event coins also get their chance at having the slot machine treatment. Contents of the slots could include older costumes, costume-related mats like recolor and slot machine tix, maybe even special costume effects, costume crafting ingredients (like the ones you get in achievements or even just the super rare ones that drop from mvps), and other miscellaneous items (like idk maybe a master storage expansion coupon for jackpot prize maybe?) that can make it enticing even to non-costume fans!
Why is this a good idea?
At the moment, the most use of event coins we have would be the annual summer claw machine and burning them outright for costumes at 57 or for crafting which is well and all but for the ones actively spamming slots right now and for event enjoyers with 30k++ event coins in their storage, it would at least bring new life to the coin and give it more demand.
It will also likely increase seasonal event participation (since old and new players will now see another dopamine-inducing use for them), and help newer players have access to the older costumes no longer released (since it is possible that many of the old costumes are lost to circulation due to player migration cycles). Not to mention, it can help give the staff another avenue with re-releasing old costumes outside of putting them in eggs and loading the old ones up in already available seasonal events. And just maybe, if slot machine tix were to also be released in there, it would help bring the cost of the happy balloon down further so more players have access to it.
What risks or downsides does it have?
For the forseeable future, I don’t think there would be a negative to making an event coin-exclusive slot machine. Sure it could get addicting and sure some older players might complain that their hard earned costume is now not that exclusive but that can be solved with cycling what costumes are available per season (like how the old slots was prior to the 2 revamps).
Additional Info:
Event coin slots can even act like a costume gachapon (giving out gambling costume enthusiasts more to look out for) and rares (like super seasonal costume effects, or exclusive costumes) can be released there! Custom costume requests can maybe even be accommodated in this feature (since after all, costumes are the true endgame).
