Reposition Master Storage

Currently, the master storage is positioned in the 4th slot, and the guild storage is in the 3rd slot. It would be more convenient for players if the Master Storage were moved to the 1st slot or anything away for the gs slot. This adjustment would help prevent putting your items accidentally in the guild storage, especially there are no activity logs for guild storage.

For example I use guild storage very often when I play, not this time (have no guild yet) but in general. But the point isn’t that I wouldn’t like to remove guild storage menu even further than it’s now, but rather that I know (and Muh knows, I know too haha) that it’s technically quite possible to make these menus customizable so that everyone can move them as they want. That’d be nice indeed.

@Solfernia I mean, you can be more careful. I don’t mean to be rude or annoying or obnoxious, but this may be the result of a skill issue. Just take your time and be very careful. By spending 2-3 seconds to open the appropriate storage, you save time searching for a mistake you made on accident by rushing to preserve what you consider “time”. Just be super careful and all is well. :smiley:

@DreamFall I would agree with this suggestion. Allowing us to move things at will would help, but making this change to move storage locations on the menu, might annoy some people.

@EvilLumi

That is understandable, but whenever a guildmate mentions 200 heirlooms or other items is on the GS, it creates anxiety among members about whether those items belong to them. Without activity logs, we have no way of knowing who the items belong to.

Dreamfall’s suggestion is better than mine. Hopefully the GM considers this suggestion.

As someone who took weeks to realize master storage was a thing, +1 on any of the above suggestions that makes it more noticeable and easier to access.

@Solfernia Well, as you’re sharing a guild storage, you’re automatically creating this risk. You have to understand that this is a risk made by you, allowing people to use your storage. This requires trust, and if you can’t commit to that, then perhaps guild storage shouldn’t be shared among your peers.

I’m not trying to argue your way of playing, but you’re slightly asking for a change that really involves your, and your guildmates short comings. Now, I agree with Dreamfall, but I think this is a self-created issue, which I think everyone should be aware and just be more careful. It’s really that simple. :smiley:

I hope we get dreamfalls change, so you can at least feel at ease about your guildmates, but maybe you need to vet them to reassure yourself they are worth trusting to have accessibility to the storage.

@Solfernia rather than fixed position, which anyone have their own prefference.
i would rather enabling an OPTION TO REORDER THE ORDER OF THE STORAGE , i knew its kinda possible on my last server, so i hope they can do it here too ..
thanks

As for access to the guild storage, I usually allow it to almost everyone (except literally recruits, newcomers) but set a password for it, giving it only to those whom I completely trust. This is quite convenient for management, I note. The only obvious drawback is that you’ve to enter that password, huh. To lazybones this may seem like a pretty weighty argument against but take my word — if the password isn’t really difficult and quite memorable (around 5 characters will be enough, I guess) then you can get used to it in a week at most. Try this if you want, as an option.

And I don’t remember a single case of password leakage or any storage looting. For many years the worst thing that happened was when someone once ate all my Mora mandarins, haha. And the “villain” was soon found and helped replenish supplies. :sweat_smile:
