Reduce Bubblegum Cash Shop Price

This was brought up during the discussion of a different suggestion’s thread, but I wanted to make a separate thread for better discussion/visibility.

Basically the price of BBG (and token of siegfried) is too high compared to others in cash shop. Making a price comparison in eden machine vs cash shop:

  • The One Potion: 25 eden coins / 205 cash shop points
  • All other consumables that make up The One Potion (Almighty, Tyr, Red Booster etc): 3 eden coins / 25 cash shop points
  • Transformation Scrolls: 3 eden coins / 3 cash shop points
  • Kafra Card: 2 eden coins / 16 cash shop points

These are nice. But then:

  • Bubblegum: 30 eden coins / 850 cash shop points
  • Token of Siegfried: 5 eden coins / 180 cash shop points

For some reason the cash shop point/eden coin ratio is 4-5 times higher for BBG/token of siegfried compared to all the other consumables. My suggestion is adjusting them a little, even reducing bubblegum to 500-600 cash shop points would be a good enough improvement.

If the above suggestion is no good for some reason, some alternatives:

  • Add regular bubblegum to the Muh Coin Shop (where HE Bubblegum is sold), but for a more reasonable price than the cash shop
  • Make the bubblegum that is given as eden quest reward tradeable/marketable, so there will be more of it on the market

I should also say, the reasoning for these suggestions is simple, and it’s a selfish one: I hate doing eden quests. Yes it has very good rewards, but I still don’t want to do it. Farming too-easy low level maps, farming with multiclients, repeatedly going back to town every minute to turn in quests, these are the 3 things that I find the most boring in this game, and all 3 are pretty much necessary for eden coin farm. Bubblegum is a necessity to keep up with others and make zeny in this server, so I want alternative ways to farm it for people like me.

I already buy my bubblegum from market/cash shop, but there it usually costs around 3.4m/4m respectively, which feels bad. If its added to Muh Coin Shop so I can join events and buy bubblegums with the reward each day instead of doing eden quests, I’d be happy with that too.

(Note that I’m not asking for these alternatives to be better than the current method, doing eden quests with multi client can remain the best method for bubblegum farming, I just want the alternatives to be less inferior.)

@jinbou my mistake I misread your title :smiley: I agree with the suggestion. Bubble gum is already in the eden shop, and costs basically 1 higher eden quest to earn. That’s blinking speed in essence. Perhaps it would actually help solo players and promote some muh coin burning. :smiley:

And you’re not selfish for asking for something that will help others cope with the multiclienting issue. This helps quite a few people who like to play on a single client, and I know of a few personally.

This is actuall a good suggestion
