PvP - Performers Skill bugged/balancing

Some Performer skills haven’t been working as intended based on the descriptions and the information from the websites. Specifically, Song of Siren, Gloomy Shyness and Harmonize.

Song of Siren has been mentioned in a previous post
Siren’s Voice Bugged Duration - MuhRO Forum

Gloomy Shyness
Does not have a custom change based on the battlegrounds wiki - meaning it should be 20 second duration with 60 second cooldown. But currently it has 20 second duration and 15 second cooldown.

In terms of BG, especially since it’s a low population - you can pretty much hold someone hostage and make them have a permanent uptime of +2.5 fct. And even if they @die, due to battlegrounds having a cooldown before you spawn, the moment you even spawn back, you just get gloomied again. Maybe increasing the cooldown to act similar to WoE (20 sec dur, and 20 sec cd) would be good.

Harmonize
Based on the Skill Description:

It should only remove the battleground buff that gives us +30 all stats, but in reality, it takes more than 30

It is taking upwards to 72 of my stats (Agi went from +57 to -15) and not the flat 30 that is expected. Furthermore, this skill was supposed to be balanced as the caster would lose the same number of stats as well. But Maestro’s can just perform a song that belongs to Group A (Windmill Rush, Echo Song) and this “detriment” is moot point, meanwhile the target is still running around with less stats than they should.
Additional Note is that this song has a 5 sec CD with a 15 sec duration, meaning you can just permanently harmonize someone (like gloomy) and up to 2 people with ease (potentially a 3rd person too)

Proposing that this song gets a special group so that no other Maestro songs can remove this debuff from themselves, or when they perform another Group A song, the debuff from the target also disappears.

From what I can remember, there was a soft reboot on the PVP skills. Which meant everything is back to default, it might be the reason why Gloomy still has it original cooldown despite the wiki says it’s nerfed.

Currently skills such as Arm Cannon are untouched despite being nerfed based on the wiki page.

@cheverlotte yes correct, there was a reset sometime last year but it was for WoE only. What was reset? I couldn’t answer that.

WoE for example, Aim Bolt is nerfed but remains untouched in BG:

I believe the Wiki is not up to date on certain things but what you see on it applies to WoE only.

The soft reboot are just skill mechanics and only applied to woe. Then some newer additions were added throughout the months.

For example, dangerous soul collect is suppose to have an irreducible 0.2 fct added but does not apply in woe (it does in bg)

@123 I may hate gloomy as much as the next guy, but I don’t think straight up blocking the skill would be a good play. Just balancing it around should be enough

@intrepidenigma

@aewuu

Ahh, thanks for the info folks.

With that said, please fix perfs so they don’t feel as bad to play against (perma gloomy go brr)

i dont mention someone here, but there was a guy like to aim the gloomy to my face and keep doing that all the match. I think gloomy is a dangerous skill because if a players target is not a person who prefer bg/pvp, they chose quiting and never go pvp again

@123 If you’re playing DPS in BG, it’s only natural for you to get gloomy as much as possible. It’s the performer’s job to disable the strongest damage dealer on the opposing team. If the perfomer has his eyes on you, it means you pose the biggest threat to their team. Don’t take it personally.

+1 to this, it’s quite dumb that you can overwrite the previous gloomy before the effect gone with a new one.
also that harmonize effect need to get fix as well.

Alright, found some time to test out harmonize.
Harmonize is a skill that reduces -30 points in every stat category

For example:
Str X + 30
Agi X + 30
Vit X + 30
Int X + 30
Dex X + 30
Luk X +30

With harmonize all status would look like so:

Str X
Agi X
Vit X

So on and so forth.
With PvP/WoE maps, there is a +30 buff to all status, our status now looks like so:

Str X + 30 (base) + 30 (PvP buff);

This gives us

Str X + 60
Agi X + 60

Now with harmonize, it should just cancel out the +30 buff, however, it completely ignores the pvp buff and harmonize decreases 30 points from the original values; leaving us with:

Str X
Agi X
Vit X

In conclusion, harmonize decreases 30 status points on its own, the buffs from pvp/woe and external factors that arent from gear and clan bonuses
