Mech Accelleration Speed/Guyak Use

Would it be possible to make Mech/Meister Acceleration skill have the same speed boost as Cart Boost or be able to have Guyak Pudding work while in mado gear?

Hmm. Doubtful in my opinion. I personally wouldn’t like to see a deviation from the official values. Fortunately the server administration is largely in solidarity with this. By the way Meister is my main at the moment — in case there’s a sudden desire to accuse me of some kind of bias, huh. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

First of all why you must compare it with cart boost speed? And why suggesting to make custom behaviour of the skill? Beside that meister with madogear have it own advantage immune to decrease agi.

Not only are Guyaks so widespread and easily available Mechas are sorta the only class to have limited access to ludicrous mvspd, they are also from the same base class than the very one with access to Cart Boost and the OG Cart Boost class in the first place.

Care little about skill customization as long as it is defensible, for balancing or QoL purpose.

Transcending statistics should be part of a major QoL and not class specific.

Cosndiering weight improvements and vending improvements have been added to all classes, I don’t see an issue having all classes benefit equally from movement, which is the root cause here.

This one, not so much.
A ridiculous/over the top suggestion can only ever be a ridiculous/over the top one, no matter how much one would insist on calling it defensible or whatnot.
So it really wouldn’t be that much of a problem.

@Sora mado have slides for movement skill, which is already faster than guyak

In a straight line, I can see it.
You’d still have to stop and turn to change direction, so overall not that quicker I’d say.
The same argument could be made for Inqui’s Snap, yet they have access to Guyak just as anybody else.

All in all, if skill customization is a no-go, just have Guyaks affect Mado.
Absolutely no reason to refuse that in this server.

I would agree and I’d be against any changes too if slow immunity was an actual advantage that mado has. But in this server guyak is practically free, and it makes the character slow immune too, so the reality is that everyone is slow immune here anyway. “Not being affected by movement based skills” feature of mado is supposed to be a double-edged sword, as movement buffs/debuffs both don’t work, but due to how things work here, the advantage is completely lost, and only the disadvantage remains.

Even if guyak was changed to work with mado, mado wouldn’t gain any advantage over other classes in terms of movespeed. It would just move at max speed and be slow immune, which is the exact same thing every other class has always been able to do anyways :woman_shrugging:

edit: Also, divine-pride and every korean website I check shows guyak as a consumable that just adds 100 movespeed, which shouldn’t make player slow immune I feel like. And with a 5 minute duration instead of 30. So, I’m not sure but unless I’m looking at some outdated info, our mechanics seem to be already custom when it comes to movespeed? (and even if itsn’t, how its basically free in this server still makes the circumstances very different for this server…)
