Make God items Godly again

We previously discussed this but we never put it down as a topic here.
Main thing is God items nowadays are basically useless and are kinda hard to make as well so we thought of making changes so that god items have a meaning again:

1.Allow God items to be slotted for pvp
this could make god items more interesting to use for the pvp scene as however to make it not too overpowered in pvp you can only equip 1 slotted god item at all times.

2. Allow god items to be converted into “cards” for pvm
this would make god items for some classes bis. also add a limit so you can t wear multiple of the same kind (no dual meg or 4x mjolnir)
this could also lead to a boom for pvp as you actually get something worthwile for it instead of just 7-10 bsb/woe

cards would look like this:

Mjolnir: str+20|dex+50|aspd+10%|atk+350|autocast thunderstorm|random chance splash dmg (weapon)
Sleipnir: int+25|mdef+10|maxsp/hp +20%|agi up speed|+25% sp gen (shoes)
Megingjard: str+40|every 5 base lvl +1str|10% boss dmg with 120 base str (accessory)
etc

-1 Yeah, then add OCP gear, next step allow MVP cards on PvP. If we’re going to break the semblance of balance that we have now, we need to break it completely. Totally against it.

@MadHatter
ok fair point but what about the god item cards for pvm? (those are disabled for pvp)
could you leave your opinion for that too?

@CannonMeat I’m less worried about using it all in PvP than in PvE. It’s more of a PvE server, after all. Since almost no one plays PvP and custom changes are within the norm there, although it will make it harder to maintain balance there. About PvE, MVP card and +15 gear are already dividing people a lot, as HoL shows, the same Muh said that the first party that closed lvl 20 has too much damage, you just suggest to add more, available only to those who are in big guilds or have enough zeny to buy these cards.
And on top of all that, if memory serves me right, I once heard that MuhRO tries to stick to kRO in terms of items and balance, so why complicate things by shooting yourself in the foot with custom stuff?

i think you overestimate this even though they would become bis the bonus is negible
and you don t need to paly woe to buy it you can just buy it from other players

adding 10 or 20 % more dmg won t solve that issue but it also won t make it much worse than it is

yes muh is primarily pve but i wanted this change so we have at least a few more ppl join into pvp and getting actual usuable items would be great instead of just some bsb and a costume

let s hear some other opinions

Yeah, just buy them, they certainly won’t cost like Abysmal Witch Card now (around 20b), for the same reason that there are just too few of them on the server, right?
And if true endgame items (costumes) can’t get people to play PvP, then they’ll definitely rush into PvP for a “small” damage boost, right?
So far I can only see how the old PvP guilds can benefit from this. Since some of these items are already made and I’m sure there’s material rotting away in the kafras for even more of them.
So can we do without the custom game balance changes please?

This sounds wildly overpowered and deep into custom equipment territory
I’m not entirely against the idea of custom equipment but with the current general stance against it, you’d need a really strong argument to have it seen in a positive light is how I view it.

I think it could be Worthwile to be consider. Afterall this is a P-Server and not kRo 2.0, having something spicy couldnt hurt.

Looking at godlikes overall, those are in the super outdated category. I believe reviving could be a good idea, even more considering the current State of WoE in generell. Its not worth playing/investing with the little reward u get.

I think slotted god like are what ever but making them into cards is interesting for the pve scene. Maybe few of them need to be weakened but in generell nothing to gamebreaking considering stuff like Lasgand/Tao/Kiel.

I give it a +1, Custom Content is totally fine and give the server his own thing and it could Revive WoE which was always a idea from many.

-1 for custom equipment. Same reason as why we dont change skill behavior.

-1 keep it as official kRo-like as possible, bringing one single overpowered custom item just means open doors for more broken items and more imbalance, same as adding all the stoopidly broken ítems from iRo, jRo, ocp, etc, custom equipment is a big No, and even more so if that will only bring more imbalance

Yeah, it’s like opening Pandora’s box to start a downward spiral of suggestions: “Let’s add this or that”.

-1 for the Suggestion

rather implement WoE:4th

The Godlikes from Woe / WoE:SE are from the past and should stay there.
