Hello to the Admin Team, as well as all members of the MuhRO community.

I would like to make this post to kindly ask everyone to vote for it, and also to ask for the Admin Team’s opinion on the possibility of reopening BG mode for now. As for WoE, perhaps it can be considered later, since WoE is an environment that can more easily lead to conflicts, competition, and situations that may become harder to control.

I do not have too many complicated thoughts to write here. I simply love this environment and the people in the MuhRO community. I also truly appreciate the management ability and high level of skill from the admins, especially Muh. There are many quality-of-life improvements that make the server very enjoyable to play on, and I personally really love playing here.

I am not the type of player who tries to create enemies, start conflicts, or fight just to bring others down. I simply enjoy healthy competition and the feeling of battling against other players in a fair and respectful way. For me, the feeling of coming up with a new strategy, farming zeny, and then testing that strategy is extremely exciting.

For some players, the fun may come from PvM, fighting monsters, farming items, or joining events. But for me, the fun comes from using different skills, combining them creatively, and interacting with other players who share the same interest. It feels like a real challenge because players are usually very smart, and through that, I can learn, improve, and become more patient in a respectful and healthy environment.

I was also playing during the time when the drama happened and BG was completely closed by the GM team. To be honest, my English is not very good, so I did not really understand what people were arguing about. I did not even know what the drama was about. I only suddenly saw that BG was closed, and I felt quite sad about it.

I also feel truly sorry and would like to send my encouragement and sympathy to the GM team, who had to manage and endure the drama during that time. I understand that bringing this up again may remind you of unpleasant memories, and I know it is probably not a comfortable feeling.

However, I believe that everyone has grown, understood the situation better, and reflected on what happened. With that in mind, I sincerely and strongly hope that the GM team can consider opening a new opportunity for both returning BG players and new players who simply want to enjoy the mode in a healthy and respectful way.

Therefore, I would like to kindly ask the GM team to consider giving BG players another chance.

Ex-BG/WoE Player here
I was kinda there at the beginning of the told “drama” and I quit WoE because of the toxic behavior of certain guilds (Like Bully, spreading rumors and such). So having WoE closed as a consequence is fine for me, I mean it was a niche area and for some peeps it wasnt really that rewarding in the end.

BUT, BG was always a different place for me.
Was it balanced? Heck no, sometimes games felt super uneven and unfun to play.
Was the BG Community nice? Actually yes, some of my old Ragnarok friends was BG players here on MuhRo. Most of them are banned sadly (and I wish I could play with them again) but there was some friendly faces among the other players aswell. Always helpful and fun to be around. Even one of them did some spare duels with me in preparation for WoE and BG and we had alot of fun.
Seeing it closed along WoE was sad for me. Not only are 2 of my leveled and build Characters “ded” but I cant enjoy my time there for some cool matches and then gamble later on my badges on the slot machine.

Considering all, I give this a +1 from my heart.
BG is different than WoE and was always healthier than that.
And considering 4th Class WoE will be a thing maybe in the future, it can return if we get that and stay closed until then.
But BG can return and I would be happy about it aswell.

Thank you for your sharing and your vote of support. Actually, for me, being able to play BG with other players in 2 vs 2 pairs is already a lot of fun. We don’t need too many players, they might join later, and I think the BG community will help and be friendly to new players as much as possible. Anyway, whatever we play, I really like this server. I hope the admin team will once again overlook the mistakes of previous players and create an environment where everyone can start anew in a friendly and healthy competitive BG.

When I joined server - all pvp activity was already off. It would be great to have an opportunity to try this mode.

ex pvp player here - No to pvp/woe content. Alot of toxicity came from there. Removing pvp content from the server was actually good choice. If anything, a separate server that caters to only pvp/woe would be good

New player here, so I don’t know what happened that led to the BG/WoE shutdown back then, but I would love to see it brought back. Maybe, like some people have mentioned, only BG could be re-enabled for now, while keeping WoE for a later discussion. please consider this suggestion.

If I remember correctly there was a time when only woe was disabled and bg was still active, and it still brought lots of problems.

I’ve played ro for 20 years and it is an undeniable truth that pvp always attracts lots of drama with little to no upside, so I understand why the GM team doesn’t want to add it back.

I would like to support this post as well.

I was not present or involved during the previous WoE/BG period, so I do not want to judge what happened in the past or reopen old conflicts. I only learned about the situation later by asking around and trying to understand why BG and WoE are currently not active.

I have already been experiencing MuhRO’s PvM content for around two months, and I genuinely think the server offers a lot: farming, instances, character progression, quality-of-life features, and many different ways to improve your gear. The PvM side is rich and enjoyable.

However, after spending time progressing through PvM, I also feel that Battlegrounds could add another very important layer to the server. It would give players a place to test their builds against other players, learn PvP mechanics, improve their gameplay, and have another long-term motivation beyond farming and instances.

I also think starting with BG first makes sense. Compared to WoE, BG feels easier to control, less guild-politics oriented, and maybe safer as a first step. It could be reopened with limited rewards, clear rules, and maybe scheduled active windows or a test period to see how the community behaves.

Not everyone is looking for drama or conflict. Some players simply enjoy healthy competition, teamwork, and improving their gameplay in a respectful environment.

I fully understand that the GM team may have concerns because of what happened before, and I respect that. But I also believe that with clear communication, moderation, and a fresh start, BG could bring more life and variety to the server.

Even a small update from the staff about whether BG or WoE could return in the future would already be appreciated by many players.
