Is it time to nerv mage in ro? And buff some uncommon class

Arc Mage and most of mage stay T0,T1 all the time, now at most of instance team full of mage,
no need tanker, just burst and burst.

LevelingT0-Arc Mage
FarmingT0 -Arc Mage
Boss SoloT0-Arc Mage
Instance SoloT0- Arc Mage

As you see, Mage no need too much gear, they can do 100m++ damage,
its too eazy to play, makes physical class looks like nothing,
(thats why i play mage as my farming class right now)

some physical even you end game gear , you still cant eazy to 1 hit biospheremob.
arc mage just teleport, Soul Expansion , aoe skill, all just in 0.1 second kill all the mob.

Also, alot of boss or mob they absorb physical damage and heal them self, reflect physycal damage, but they can kill by magic damage, i didnt see any boss can absorb magic damage, only the mob on sarah & ferir’s that cow.

For the game balance ,

  1. making mage type of class more low defends, mage is mage , should be more soft if get physical attack
    make they cant tank boss and more eazy die when farming mob getting hit ( if not Imperial born for joke lol…)
  2. more skill cd time 1/2 second > cant instanse cast every skill
  3. more magic damage absorb’s mob or boss , magic reflect in bio5,4 .
  4. or other suggestion.

Career-specific changes suggess:
Nerv
Arc Mage

  • Soul Expansion become single target, or 2,3 target, it should be boss killing skill,
    if you choose soul expansion ,then you need to abandonment your all farming set up.

Buff class-
Imperial Guard

  • Buff Cross Rain, take away that global 2 second cd and vairable casting , the only one farming skill,
    make it better please.

Wind Hawk-

  • Buff Trap , Advaced Trap/ Solid Trap/ Flame Trap / Deep Blind Trap/ Swift Trap
    make damage alittle bit higher,
  • Dim Glacier add trap skill option.

  1. Arch Mages use soul vulcan strike, not soul expansion which is a 3rd job skill.
  2. What makes Arch Mages even considered to be overpowered in my opinion is Intense Telekensis. And it’s on a 5 minute cooldown and only lasts 60 seconds. Windhawk also has a skill similar, Unlimit which also boosts dmg a ton.
  3. In the context of the skill I think you are talking about, Soul Vulcan Strike, they wouldn’t be considered top tier farmers.
  4. Warlock is atrocious at leveling. It’s definitely not as easy as Ranger for example. It definitely becomes easier when you become 4th job but for the most part, that’s every class.

they just adjust the SPL skill multiplier of VSV in the script.

so no bug fil has been made only skill adjustments Aka NERF.

@SorryFace Yes it was broken, the SPL-scaling was 5 times higher than it was supposed to be.
They did not do it to annoy AM players, they did it so that it behaves exactly as on kRO.

For the same reason you wouldn’t want gm’s to custom buff their favourite class, it would just as bad if they’d ignore a bug that makes AM deal way more dmg than intended. I agree that it’s sad for AM players, but it needed to happen in order to be fair to all other classes who don’t get to benefit from a bugged skill.

@SorryFace it was broken in the way that there was an error in the skill formula. This was fixed.

Regarding the discussion we are not planning to apply any custom changes to the class.
