The current implementation of friends list is by character which I don’t think is v good
Generally, when I add someone, I want to know if the person is online and not specifically their Arch Mage. In the current implementation, if I log onto a different character, none of my friends know if I am online, or if my friend is on a different character, I won’t know if they’re online unless they add me on every char ever
I would like to recommend that when you add someone you add them as a friend by game account or master account.
Somethings to consider with implementation:
- Ability to hide if you’re online
- Ability to hide specific characters from showing on friends lists
- Ability to set a nickname on the friends list that shows regardless of character
- Probably shouldn’t display the actual master account name or game account name due to security reasons
this of course sounds like a lot of work to implement but i believe in u @“Muh”#1
