First Job Sprite for Alternate Outfit

I’d love it if you could have the option to have the first job sprite available with the Alternate Outfit outfit in cash shop, it’d bring a lot of costumization and costume set ideas by itself and would be really cool.

But of course it should have to be banned in PvP because you wouldn’t know if for example the swordman is a knight or paladin.

So in PvP areas/maps or whatever, it’d have to look like your normal 3rd/4th job sprite by default if you have the first job sprite ON.

Prefer not to unless u can clearly differentiate a class. Even not in party I don wanna walk around and not know if the other guy is what class. It irks me especially if we gonna farm same map

Every class has a distinct skill set feature, especially now that 4th jobs are implemented. It’s not like in pvp where it could be an advantage and even if it does, it only gives you an one-time opportunity/element of surprise. Once they use a skill, any skill, its very easy to narrow it down.

Statistically, you can also just narrow down which class it’ll be depending on the class popularity.

Pretty neutral on this.
I really don’t see the point tho.

Also, I seem to remember from another server I used to play on that it comes with a lot of issues (on the technical side) that generally makes it not worth the effort.

@Crosscy Why does this bother you? do you think they’re cheating somehow? it’s just an appearance, which does NOT affect you in any way whatsoever.

@MadMonkey This is what I’m worried about actually. Dual wield thieves, taekwon using rods, and I’m sure a few other little things. Fortunately, effects are not bound to sprites, so I don’t think we’ll have issues there. This is why just raising the level cap of first jobs and allowing them to get trait points after 200, might be easier to do.

@EvilLumi Easier on the technical side no doubt.
It’d still come with its own set of issues.
Especially on a server with active WoE TE.

I really wouldn’t hold my breath on this happening if I were you.
