Title: Event Suggestion: Wheel of Fortune
Description:
I would like to suggest an event (mini games) where the concept came from Wheel of Fortune.
I noticed that maps have “alternate” or lore names that I’m surprised to notice just recently. It always pops-out whenever I warp to a map but too focused on something else to notice.
So I thought it would be a great idea to learn more about the lore and make it as fun and engaging activity at the same time.
Mechanics:
- Just like how Disguise Event operates by guessing, this will too be a guessing game with a twist.
- Tiles will appear with each tile has corresponding letter, arranged so that to fit the word(s) to be gussed. E.g. ☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐'☐ ☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
- There’s the clue too: “I am the cosmic, primeval wellspring nestled deep within the roots of the World Tree, Yggdrasil. What map am I?” (Answer: Hvergelmir’s Fountain)
- There will be NPC (Feud Host) that can accommodate two options: (1) Reveal a letter, and (2) Guess the word.
- Reveal a letter: All players present can vote/type in the letter they wish to reveal. The most number of letter voted will appear. 1 muh coin reward for each player who contributed to successfully reveal vote. In the event that there are multiple top voted letters to reveal, the system will randomly select on the top votes on which one to reveal.
- Guessing the word prematurely and is wrong, disqualifies the player for the entire specific run but can join again for the next batch.
- This may or may not be limited to map names, but can included other lores in RO.
- Last but not the least, the winner(s) gets their muh coins for correctly guessing.
Why is this a good idea?
Additional variety to the existing events.
What risks or downsides does it have?
Just fun.
