Description:
Please make elemental sword equipable by novice class, i’m aware that this is possible already with a soul link but it would be nice to have the possibility to use it without the necessity of a dual login or asking someone else for a soul link
The point is, I’d love to be able to use this sword in events like the current autumn event with my hyper novice without needing a soul link

Why is this a good idea?
More variety and funzies using a novice class in events?

- HN can access Double Cast that have 80% chance to get Double Bolt.
- HN has his own Cold Bolt skill, without ACD, VCR and 193 ASPD, you can turbo spam Cold Bolt via for triggering 100% effect from Elemental Sword. I know that AC can do that too but HN have Double Bolt, its very effective.
Instead of granting access to use Elemental Sword, you can make Dim Glacier Staff with Shadow Spell Enchant that grant to autocast Psyshic Wave and Meteor Storm. Psychic Wave do up to 7 hits x2 = 14 hits per cast by Staff.

@danieltran88 i don’t see the problem on it being “very effective” also using it that way makes it pretty demanding, would need to reduce fct, vct, acd and increase aspd
a GX can make it pretty easier can be super effective just by equipping 2 elemental swords and stacking aspd

@Jetago yes, And that should be GX not HN. You know that should be the open gate for other classes want something to enhance their dmg on event also. If you want to do most dmg, go for GX, if you want to play and chill with event, just build what HN can.
Because we only need hit to dmg on plant protocol, Its very easy to reach 193 ASPD, 100% ACD and 100 VCR while ES has 3 slots.
And to encounter Goddess, just swap gear back to dps.

Just because You say it i guess… (still wouldn’t be as effective) dude this wouldn’t even “unlock a whole new impossible build that will destroy the events” super novices can already use an elemental sword with the only requirement of a soul link, both elemental sword and super novice soul link are obsolete nowadays, this is just a petition to remove that requirement just for having fun in events

If it is already possible with soul link and the problem your mentioning is needing to have a secondary account just for soul link, why not ask for an NPC that gives you the soul link buff? Kind of like the NPC for rogue classes that lets them copy any skill.
And it could give soul link buff for every class so that if say alchemists want to use special pharmacy without an alt they can

Maybe i’m misremembering, But I believe there has already been a suggestion for a Soul Link NPC, which was rejected
But anyways, not only the super novice one but most, if not all class soul links are basically useless because they only buff/enable 2nd class skills, we’re talking about a pre-renewal mechanic, the only one that can be somewhat useful is SG granting 100% defense ignore and crit in every attack, but is also kind of unpopular because of the handicap of draining your own hp
just changing a class restriction seems much simpler, i’d say
