Description:
The current color (dark purple/violet) is hard to see in most areas. Even squinting and getting closer to the screen (unhealthy) barely make it readable. Maybe a lighter color (like light yellow, light blue, light red, lighter violet/purple) will make #global more readable.
Why is this a good idea?
Changing it will make #global more readable.
What risks or downsides does it have?
People won’t like the new color, but it’ll likely be temporary.

or if it’s possible make it customizable

I think this should be a client side change only. There are people who are colorblind and would appreciate not having to read their fainted color.

Would be unreadable for me on a lighter color so pretty against it

The only real option we have here is providing a way for players to to configure it to their liking. I’m not against it, but at the same time it’s a bigger change than it may sound. So I’ll put this onto our long list.
