[Cash Shop] Class Change/Convert Coupon

Title: As per title

Description:

  • Change your class from X to Y with limitations, maybe Expanded -> Expanded only or Rebirth to Rebirth.
  • Lv285/65 in order to spend the coupon from the website.
  • No guild, no party as another requirement similar to Character Transfer Coupon.
  • if possible, make it applicable to 1x characters but they might cost even more?

Why is this a good idea?

  • Another source of Muh Voucher/Muh Coin sink.
  • People swapping to different archetypes ( magic or physical ).
  • It'll cost at least 10000 muh points. ( just a random value btw ).
  • People converting to other class/archetype will farm more means player retention?

What risks or downsides does it have?

  • Class meta always shift depending on the trend and weapon/td combo, so people will spend regardless
  • It used to be client limitation, but witnessing the server growth it feels like this feature can be brought to light.
  • Less leveling new alt class for instance farming. ( this option is still available, it's just converting existing characters).
  • But pretty sure the coding for Trouv, Ninja and Cat is likely way more potato that it can get.
  • Potato coding will F up the character quest progress, episode progress as well.
  • More work for Muh :person_shrugging:
  • MuhRO Bloatware is happening as we speak, but i believe this feature wouldn't do harm to the server in-fact newer players with said regrets on some classes might be helpful to them as well?

Additional Info:

  • Using Character Transfer Ticket as a comparison, i wouldn't have thought that this feature was possible in the first place due to manual work from Muh because you need to create-a-ticket and raise an official request while waiting patiently.
  • WoW offers racial/faction change, but not class change.
  • Dimensional Magic Boots split Magic Class to two groups focusing on different elements.
  • Dimensions Melee/Range/Crits Boots also split them apart into different archetype so adding in class coupon will help players narrow down which archetype they want to focus on.
  • Try to counter argument this thread with proper statement instead of a blind -1 or +1 it doesn't help at all.
  • I'm not able to visualize each person perspective and what they think of this feature.
  • Not sure what to add, i'll edit this message if i think of something.

The main point I don't like about this is the "easy to level class into hard to level class"-switch, especially with low rate being a thing.

Which is why i highlight "if possible" which is unlikely possible as what you have pointed out the easy class to harder class conversion.

Still require more perspective if this feature is added, if so how would it affect existing 1x players.

The limitation i can think of right now is 1x Class Change Coupon is much more expensive if this was added in the near future

It could even come with requirements such as max BaseLevel

Even if you level as a Ninja 1x all the way to 285, you're going to sink all the Muh Coins and HE BM and convert over to something else.

Agree. This would trivialize making some 1x classes..
