I’m proposing the creation of a blacksmith hammer for +9 to +11 similar to what Varmundt and MVP Hats items have to use from +9 to +11.
The lack of a blacksmith hammer makes it very hard to grade Nebula equioment and it can be quite expensive with the use of BSB and low change of refinement. Making it probably better saving the money and skip a whole tier all together or just depend on more experienced players to re-sell their old ones.
This would help in the transition from mid to late game.

I agree. Dealing with the same problem atm and kinda “locked” to farm raw zenny to afford old Nebulas or Overpriced Depth Armors

If I recall correctly Nebula armors aren’t a step below depth armors, they’re actually better than depth armors for regular mobs, and depth armors are better for boss mobs (correct me if im wrong). So it kinda makes sense that they don’t have a hammer, just like depth armors don’t have a one either.

From what I heard, depth armors are a tiny bit better against regular monsters too, but not by a significant amount.
The “nebula is old meta”-argument does kinda fall flat for me because there are good chances they’ll be best-in-slot again with later updates (see enchants here).
I’m not super against having hammers here, since it helps not getting screwed over by RNG (which is generally a positive thing), but then we’d have the same suggestion for the next piece of gear that doesn’t have it.

I agree but I still think it’s a good thing to have the hammers. The farming for loads (and sometimes is a lot) of BSB with no guarantee is much worse than farming for items to make the hammer and also getting some BSB for guaranteed +1. Also creates more selling items other than just BSB.
