Alternative @storeall that includes Fav Items

I love @storeall and @getall.

The thing is, when I’m doing instances with multiple chars, I can’t get and store all my gear, catalysts for skills/consumables, and the drops/trash I get/autoloot at the same time. Ideal would be a store only for the items I need, and another store for the drops. This leads me to two time-consuming situations:

  1. If I keep my gear at Fav fab, I gotta storeall my loot and my gear keeps with me (nice), but then I have to manually select each piece at fav tab to store elsewhere.
  2. If I keep my gear at non-Fav, It will be stored alright but the loots are not sorted (stores all and then I have to manually select the gear to withdraw with the subsequent characters).

So, I don’t know how this is programming-wise, but the solution I have in mind Is creating a different command for either:

  1. A different “storeall but keeps fav” and “storeall with fav (stores really everything - a command to be implemented)”
  2. The option to toggle with a button or command, like we do with shopping protection for fav tab, so there’s a toggle for storing the fav items too when using @storeall. And that’s gotta be compatible with the new ‘fav memory’ feature that works so well.

Is this enough for comprehension? I could explain better If needed, english isn’t my mother language.

Also, I know this sounds spoiled because that’s like 30 secs I lose, but I’d like to farm with more chars and that would make the process easier xD

Thank you in advance!

I didn’t farm instance for quite a bit now after going hiatus, but an example of your instance farming storage should look like this with all consumables, if ever, i just need to refill whatever consumables that is missing as all the hotkeys are binded correctly as per consumable and skill preset.

The only thing i’m managing is weight and setting up specific nolootid list for instances that i farm.

Never keep your gear and cards in your favourite tab for your instance farmers unless it’s your 1x char for field farming.

Yes, Just take the L for not using your 1x farmer to farm instance because having to un-favourite or manually clicking gears back into storage daily is a hassle.

I would go extreme length to NOT decard by having duplicate MvP Cards but than it’s a personal thing here.

This is the current way of playing instance farming, you sort your loot drops right after by manually picking off the loot drops from your instance farmer master storage that is dedicated for instance farming.

Muh will have to add @storeall list and @getall list that is very item id specific and you’ll have to update it if required.

The moment you change your instance farming selection, you’ll have to edit the getall and storeall list again.

You didn’t lose 30 seconds, you just wanted 1 button to deal with all that micromanaging and sorting.

Hello waldenstrom, this is what im doing. By having x2 storage 1 for equipment transfer and 1 for your loots.
The process is like this, once you done with instances, open storage 1 and @storeall > close storage > @unequipall then @storeall on storage 2 (only for your gear + SG + costume). For consumable and catalyst, you’ll just have to stock a certain amount on every character. It may seem hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it will be super quick. Hope this helps.

@Sakura

Thank you for the reply! That’s a nice tip! It’s close to what I did in the past to farm a specific monster (Lasgand) — I kept a small stash of consumables on every character in the Favorite tab, and had a 3rd storage for @restockrestock, which I used frantically xD

Although, what that doesn’t help with is when I have gear to swap. Right now, what I do is use my Tan gear, since it’s the strongest boss in my routine, and then I go to the other bosses with the same gear. I can’t switch to the drop gear I’d wear elsewhere, but when doing multiple chars, I feel that the hassle of sorting gear is bigger than the 0.08 → 0.09 gain. And tbh, since I got this Ch1 book, I don’t swap EM Dimension books according to the boss anymore. So the post was supposed to solve this.

Again, thanks a lot! xD

@Aprinde

Thank you for all the effort you put into answering and making a video! I just realized I don’t have a consumables/card-swapping issue as big as yours xD

But I get what you did with the different storages and the @unequipallunequipall command, which I didn’t know about (I used to click the equip window and shadow window buttons).

I don’t feel safe putting consumables on the main skill tab because I’ll probably end up using something while typing, but that’s a nice tip to keep track of what’s missing (I guess I could use a 2nd skill tab for that).

About the gear in the Favorite tab, that’s the way I used to sort my consumables and stuff so I wouldn’t mix them with the loot, but that’s exactly what the topic is about — the way things are right now, something still has to be moved manually, either the drops or the gear.

Thank you for your time and attention!

This part is where you’re wasting your own time.

If yo unequip and equipall on your second and so on instance char, you need to swap to favourite tab and look for equipment to gear up.

That is something that cannot be fixed unless Gravity decided to add another UI button just for favourite gears.

The current workaround you can find in between sakura’s and my method is you favourite all your consumables on each instance farming char and micromanage each instance farming char.

If you have 15 of them, you need to feed them constantly.

Also too much QoL is bad, server already have a lot of QoL that is very useful and makes the gameplay kinda easy in my stance.

Also bear in mind, you have @restock command so topping up consumables isn’t a big deal.

Micromanaging loot drops should be a thing because this balances instance farming and field farming.

I’ll stand my point on denying this suggestion because people will keep asking for more until the game is finally automated.
