the idea is to give the possibility to create copies of a pet egg, these copies would be untradeable, unsellable, etc. completely bounded to you master account, at the same time, upon using the system the original egg would also become bound at least until you “destroy” all of the copies
Why is this a good idea?
for people who does multiple runs with multiple characters this would ease the task of returning the pet to the egg, pass to another character through storage, re-summon, and repeat over and over again
now, i get that this may somehow hurt the economy of pet trading at some point but, here’s my experience with it
i have 4 or 5 abysmal knight pets that i use for some of my alts; that’s fine, abysmal knight isn’t a very expensive pet, but now, i’ve been using a mistress pet, mistress is pretty expensive, making many of it is just too much xD, i doubt many people or barely anyone would bother on making multiple copies of an expensive pet like a mistress, with this suggestion we could just make one (there’s still pet trading market) and make copies of it for alts, the problem solves itself imo xD
What risks or downsides does it have?
in my personal opinion, with the explanation i just gave, there’s no risk or downside that i can think of
