Adding more Storage NPC on Market Map

Title: Values of @go Market tiles

Description:
Let me begin: it’s about merchant positioning, so I am hating when the storage chest is out of merchant range. So what I currently do is teleporting until I get the cell with chest view, then on the vending i put bookmark(item with high bad price) so the merchant wouldn’t get kicked out if the real vending items got sold out. But i don’t think this is healthy, though it is a necessity because I manage 10++ merchants and I need to restock etc fast.

There’s some solutions that I can think as of now:

Proposed solution 1: enable @storage on market map, so we are not dependent on npc and tiles distribution

Proposed solution 2: add more chests npc (dont need the market tele lady)

Proposed solution 3: providing a cash item that can function as bookmark probably like something that cannot be bought but can be listed on vending (idk about this one tho sounds like sus idea).

Y is this a good idea?

Tldr QoL for vendors i think:

Equal strategic values for all if not most tiles on the map. Maybe only little benefit for those with not much merchants, but for me at least I think I save a lot of times (e.g. if it is saving 3 minutes for every vending restock which is like weekly or biweekly, x10 it and it would be 30 minutes which becomes significant).

What risks or downsides does it have?
Encouraging people to have more merchant and adding QoL on merchants might or might not be a good idea. Also maybe bugs if @storage on one character clashing with others idk

Additional Info:
For solution 2 it’s kinda simple tho just adding npcs, other ones idk not even sure about the technicalities of the suggestions. Also if other people have better suggestions welcome to write on the replies thank

Maybe I just misunderstand the issue, and whether this is a good fix for you, but for my vendor I simply have the market map set as my safepoint.

Since I anyway have @return in my alt-m hotkeys for regular gameplay, I can just press that, have the storage in view immediately, and when I’m done immediately talk to the market npc to get yeeted to a random vend spot again.

@cruro I just do exactly the same.

It never occurred to me that the storages on the map were to open it when you are about to set the shop :exploding_head:

@cruro thing is i don’t have @return or @go market tho it’s kinda not the point. My point is that in the case I am on a tile where don’t have the chest on my view, i need to do that, of which is far less comfy than of otherwise

@Eneru uhhhh yea just do that it saves time. btw also more significantly than the selling shop is on the buying store periodically, that you must to talk to storage because you need to unload those weights

@hoegenaamd But what is the difference between having to use @return and @storage? Is this suggestion really about saving a single click to the storage chest?

@cruro it doesn’t matter really, otherwise if it is rejected I’d still practice the said tile booking but y’all can’t do anything about it
