Add other Glast Heim instance drops to late game maps

Description:
Same way we already have Contaminated Magic (from OGH Hard) dropping from Ch1 Geffenia maps, and considering this items just went unlimited in para_market with recent updates, maybe we can get other Glast Heim instances drops in these maps, like:

  • Ch1 Valk (hem_dun02): Have Curse Eroded Crystal (25739) as map drop instead of Contaminated Magic.
  • Ch1 Geffenia A (ch1_gfn01): Keep Contaminated Magic (6755) as map drop.
  • Ch1 Geffenia B (ch1_gfn03): Have Coagulated Spell (6608) as map drop instead of Contaminated Magic.

Why is this a good idea?
Glast Heim instances are kinda old content we are forced to repeat with multiple chars many times to meet the requirements to craft and upgrade end game gear and for that reason, these materials were kinda priced in market.

Last para_market update changed that , lowering prices a lot and adding infinite stock to buy if needed.

Additionally, I personally don’t get why we got Contaminated Magic only as drop, ignoring the other ones (ok, Coagulated Spell is the most used, but why not the other ones?).

So now that we put a price limit and removed amount limit in market, why not add an extra option to farm this mats in end-game maps, giving strong players an alternative to run the old GH instances? Also giving alternative to just farm zeny and buy everything.

Valk and Geff maps are not that populated anymore (don’t really have info about this tbh, so ignore this argument if false xD) now that people can farm Zero Cell maps with better drops% for the important mats, so this would give some extra incentive to run these maps again.

What risks or downsides does it have?
It could make Glast Heim instances less interesting, even tho I think, based in my experience, you need to have a very very strong char to get more Coag/Conta (assuming same drop as now) farming in Geff than spamming OGH instances with 10-15 alts for an hour, and not even sure if that could be possible, as with 10 alts you can get 1000+ coags per hour (once/day) which I think is way more than you can get in Geff (maybe I’m just too weak lol), so this would be just a separated alternative.

Those mats having a high price in market is a good thing, it means even if you don’t have high end gear you can still farm things in various places to resell. It is also a good thing to have diverse farming spots instead of centralizing everything in the same few maps.

It is frustrating when those mats are bottlenecking your progression during late game, but you still have the choice between farming them, buying them or trading them for instance coins

I don’t think the suggestion impact any of your points:

  • “mats having a high price in market is a good thing”
    • Suggestion start by prices not being high anymore since para_market update.
  • “even if you don’t have high end gear you can still farm things in various places to resell”
    • Technically only place to farm these are the GH instances, which are pretty low level and give good amount of mats if you spam them with multiple chars, from my experience, way more than just farming Geff for them, even in HH.
    • Also, spamming instances for instance coins or just farming zeny (with the price update) is still faster approach probably, so not gatekeeping anything or solving any bottleneck, I think.

The only think I could agree is maybe this Geff/Valk maps could be a bit stacked, but I think they are already kinda forgotten by ZC existing and the specific map drops being cheap in market.

Also not feeling like adding this in easier maps is a good idea as the mats are used in late-game gear, so this is more like a farming alternative than a solution to make the farm easier, as this would probably still be the slower one (unless you plan to farm Geff/Valk for multiple hours a day, maybe I’m understimating some ppl here).

Anyway, just a suggestion, glad to hear your point of view

Oh I hadn’t seen the price drop on coag and conta lol my bad. If the price is this low then there’s even less incentive to add them to a map they don’t belong, isn’t there?
