Add new rule or make new dodgeball - team based

I’ve noticed that some players like to team up in this event regulary. And not gonna lie, it’s a joy killer when you have to fight people who clearly are working in a group. Tracking some chat history, I’ve seen some complaints in the past.

It is not a recent problem. So, my suggestion is to add a rule against teaming up so people playing solo will have equal chances. Since GMs are doing a wonderful job overseeing us, it shouldn’t be too much of an addition to their actual job? >_<

Idk if there should be some specific penalty, thats up to GM for decide, but maybe every time they get noticed for regular teaming up by GM’s they might get banned for the next 1-2 dodgeballs?

Also, not wanting to be a joy killer myself, maybe there’s an opening for team-based dodgeball? Like, people who join dodgeball are randomly sorted into teams of two or more? Like in BG? ^^

I’m sure GMs would have fun participating just to scatter/kill grouping players, but let’s hear more voices and maybe there are more good ideas ~ (I know I’d have fun because I broke the event once by killing the winning couple ~)

From playing it myself, I noticed it sometimes too.

As an example:
I played with an friend of mine, but we never teamed up. We noticed a casual group of 3-4 players sitting around the Gm and if someone dared to come even closer, the player got shot by all of them.

This was frustrating so see and even feel it myself.

Maybe create a Team Deathmatch Dodgeball with Team Blue and Red competing again each other? I dunno how to forbid this teaming up but maybe Muh have something in mind.

I’m not a big fan of the idea of GM intervention to prevent teaming since that would invite a lot of arguments about whether people were actually teaming or not, I also know EMs and GMs participate in events so allowing them to kill players on the suspicion of teaming creates a big conflict of interest between killing other people who are teaming vs killing themselves when they are teaming.
