Add Magic Rabbit Hat #5561 for auto-casting

Imported from legacy Flarum.

Description:
Please add this following hat in-game :folded_hands:t2:

https://www.divine-pride.net/database/item/5561/rabbit-magic-hat

https://ro.gnjoy.com/guide/runemidgarts/itemview.asp?itemSeq=2&ID=5561

Why is this a good idea?
More variety for range autocast builds for event as we lack a good top autocast headgear. Most available gears are catered to melee attacking only.

What risks or downsides does it have?
None.

Bumping this. :folded_hands:t2:

Sure. +1.

That hat is insanely better than the “melee only” hat.

It has 9 different procs at 3% each. For comparisson, Smokie [D] at +11 has 4 different procs, varying from 2% to 5% chance, AFTER you transform into the Smokie to begin with.

Surely melee has to have better options, since they can’t attack half the time due to the AoEs, have to spam pots to stay alive, and lack the range to attack from a safe distance? At least on Spring event.

Hmm. I guess I still kind of want it as a melee in this event.. You are right though.

The thing is it’s an official item. Melee AA build already peaked and melting plant mobs almost instantly, it wont make any difference to them. Range Autocast builds also need to dodge magic btw when the layout is not favorable.

In base rathena its scripted differently (even then the script is being hit rather than upon attacking, maybe bugged) not separate proc for each level of bolt skill but more similar to CD in mouth. Each % is for random level 1-3 attack. I’m not asking for an OP item just an option for range AA atfackers.

It actually will. Skyrius is right in that the proc chance for bolts is higher. With Smokie/Smokie LT you have to proc into Smokie, THEN the procs for other stuff kick in. Magic hats are not required for a “pre-proc” into a new form and provides instant access to the auto casting. Unless you mean for this to be only equipable by ranged characters or apply to ranged damage, this will impact Melee AA builds as well.

Im still not against this though.

What I AM curious about.. is why kRO has three different versions? Only one of the three provides the autocasting. Doesn’t really matter I guess.
