Regarding how one helper can end up with more than 1 wing - a friend of mine quit and I inherited all their gears, costumes included (and since they were also a helper, the storages did have some rewarded costumes as well).

You “working” hard for it assumes that people who earned their exclusive costumes through pvp, and artwork did not work for it. Egotistical indeed.
It’s been said before, but exclusive does not mean untradeable.
“Exclusive” costumes through pvp or art, means you must participate in that content to obtain the rewards; same as you want Rigel rewards? You don’t kill porings for it.
To summarize this thread,
no exclusive costumes, unless you’re a helper
any current “exclusive” costumes (seasonal artist rewards), can just be asked by being a helper
helper = exclusive

Not sure where you got the “Survey was made to make PvP Costumes non-exclusive”, the only poll that happened with regards to PvP costumes were making it tradeable.

The reason why I think people wanted this is because a GACHA egg was introduced as the costume for PvP instead of the fixed ones (e.g. Bloodthirsty Sword). This was essentially making us have non-tradeable costumes that were duplicates and as such, a waste.
It was also a good way to, as ice mentioned in the screenshot, sell these costumes for Zeny, so the PvP people can still earn some while playing PvP.
If anything, it was only Ice herself that said that there would be no more exclusive costumes, no survey or polls were made for that, just a statement in global from Niruyu’s screenshot.
As you also mentioned, you can wish these costumes, so why can’t we just make them craftable/huntable? I have some helper rewards before too, familiar ones if you look at the Summer Event wiki right now. Cyber Sword and Pool. So why are my “helper” reward costumes (double quotes cause its technically source costumes that can be wished, which by your admission is similar to fairy wings), already in the event? Pool, admittedly, I chose it even if I knew it was probably gonna appear on summer, but why is Cyber Sword in it? Why can’t it be Fairy Wings instead? Like, are they summer themed?

But yes, one day they can also be in a event ofc. - I dont decide which items are in there and which not.
I would just call it unlucky in your case then… that some of your “Helper Rewards” are in summer event.
And again, its all just my opinion, as a Helper. There is no need for everyone to go crazy. We are allowed to give our opinions to suggestions, thats all I did.
And yes, tradable is not the same like non exclusive.. but thats the poll you guys decided to make money out of PvP costumes, wrong decision I guess.

Completely missed my point, but sure going by what you said, how are PvP related costumes Summer related? I’d understand if they were in the PvP Summer Egg (not sure if it exists yet) but not in the Summer Event where we gather seashells, mine ores and dig up sand (unless they changed the mechanics from last year)

I already clarified, with screenshot mind you, that the poll was for TRADEABLE PvP costume, not the EXCLUSIVITY of it.
Not sure how you’re confusing TRADEABLE costumes to EXCLUSIVE costumes, the only difference is we can trade them. That’s it. The only way we’re still getting these costumes are from PvP. Not sure how that was a “wrong decision” more like you have the “wrong understanding”, so please don’t try to sound high and mighty mocking people who voted yes on that poll as making the wrong decision.

For me it looks like the wrong decision cause according to the screenshot above, Ice is refering to that point and making PvP costumes part of the event, because of that poll. So… no… I am not trying to sound high and mighty and mock others… I just argue on what Ice said.

I still don’t understand why you all keep making such a fuss about exclusive costumes. The only costumes that are and have ever truly been exclusive are:
The helper rewards I personally give out from time to time to all helpers are unavailable for about a year (+/-) and then get added to the game. But with over 7,000 costumes, it can naturally take longer for some of them to be implemented. Costume IDs are already reaching 490XXX, and we’re still adding items from the 4-digit ID range! Not even mentioning all the recolors and costume effect stones (those are already over 1,000 entries as well).
Instead of fighting each other over costumes, maybe go outside and touch some grass.
If you request a costume as a reward, whether it’s for a loading screen contribution or as a helper reward, you have to accept that it might be added in the next patch. I’m not going to double-check every costume and send out a DM like, “Hey, do you want to pick something else? That one’s coming to the server next week.” No. Your reward is that you get something that others usually have to pay for, craft, or otherwise work to get. YOU choose a costume for your loadingscreen art additional that we show your loading screen on our server! Double reward! If you count the Muh coins, triple reward. Simple as that.
RMT Sword:
It should be obvious that something like the RMT Sword is meant to stay rare! It’s supposed to motivate people to report cases like that. But you clearly don’t understand the concept of rare or exclusive, because the moment something isn’t handed to you easily, the whining starts.
