Example: Create a new command for IG/DEVO Players so that the devotion effect appears even if it has no effects.
Description:
When racing in ToT or even in HOL with effects on or even with /mineffect active I can barely see the battle because there are dozens of visual effects like damage spells etc, on the screen.This effect can be harmful to some computers, causing crashes and hindering gameplay.
Why is this a good idea?
It is a quality of life update, offering a smooth and harmonious yoke for DEVO players, as it facilitates support and makes the game more harmonious and clean.
What risks or downsides does it have?
I don’t remember any

The exact example is right below in the print I’m sending demonstrating the objective of this suggestion:
- Even with effects turned off, the line offering devotion appears clearly to the player.

You should not concentrate on that blue line anyways, because its buggy
When your target runs out of Devo range, and comes back in, the line is there even tho the Devo is not active anymore.
There are many many cases where the line is there but the devo is not active. So I am not a friend of that because the line would give me some kind of false safety. In instances like ToT and HoL, where you and ur devo target moves a lot, you have to turbo devo ur target anyway.
I dont think that Muh can work on that game sided bug. But if he can, please do so^^

@Reeen Yes, the line truly has a bug and I literally don’t trust it hehe .
But the suggestion here is not to fix the bug line, I’m just asking that it appear even if the effects are turned off.
You can continue using devotion as you have been, this suggestion will not interfere with your game at all.

If it’s only for devotion, iirc, you can force the lines to always appear by editing effects_settings.txt in muhro folder:
Devotion # EF_DEVOTION
Effect_0251 = 1

@coffee Yes, it’s pretty straightforward, the file is in .txt format similarly to Word document which can be open/edited using Notepad or Word.
