Make OGH:C levels game account wide

I’d like to see OGH:C level progress be preserved across game accounts rather than individual characters.

With OGH:C materials now being an important item for HoL item enchanting there’s incentive to run Challenge Glastheim, but the grind to level 10 is incredibly slow as it nearly takes an entire month (24 runs) to go from difficulty level 0 to difficulty level 10.

It feels absurd to need to do this for every character you may want to run OGH:C with, let alone run the instance enough times to get sufficient temporal gemstones for a single HoL accessory enchant (20 runs on average at level 10 to get 90 gemstones).

I would like to have the method of crafting Grace of Life as an alternative to dungeon farming as since grace farming is limited to being per-character, under best circumstances most people won’t get more than 5 graces per day which would require 6 entire days of repeated farming for a single opportunity at rolling a HoL accessory enchant.

Having the challenge progress be shared across characters would at least ease the burden.

An alternative while waiting for the conclusion of this suggestion is to tag along with someone who has level 10, and it’ll take a week and some days to get to level 10 with an added benefit of obtaining antiquities.

Kro do love their old glast heim

-1. People have accomplished this, it just takes time to do. HoL is new content and shouldn’t be rushed. Isn’t that what you preach all the time?

-1, people worked hard to level all their characters to lvl 10, deal with it and level or someone rush you to lvl 10, no for me.

Hmm.. I recall a suggestion that wanted the game to progress slower/make requirements harder so they won’t be out of things to do? This newest update is one of them, naturally cumbersome from the get go. Mindlessly repeating a task to achieve something is the essence of the game afterall.

@CongaLyne Sorry about that conga.. but it would be unfair to the other players who suffered arduously to get each character to level 10. I myself was one of them.
It took a few days to get 5x WH at level 10, all with the aim of finally obtain profits farming the instance and now you simply make a suggestion like that?

It doesn’t even seem like you were the one who suggested this, since a few months ago when a fellow (Set_R) suggested speeding up the OGH HARD instance you said this:

So, I advise you to take your hand off the keyboard and enjoy the journey to level 10, my friend. carpie diem <3

@coffee Skipping an instance isn’t the same as grinding for higher challenge levels, one involves not playing the game while the other is grinding for no reward; comparing the two is laughable.
I acknowledge “bringing your alt to carry you” as a strategy that is effective but not ideal for people who don’t like alt-clienting.

Perhaps OGH:C runs could reward the highest challenge level you’ve completed master account wide in terms of points each time you clear as a middleground, that way you’d still need to grind for the levels but you wouldn’t miss out if you didn’t want to have an alt-party.
