Why is this a good idea?
This would be a simple QoL improvement. Since the Riddler has a cooldown of several hours, losing the buffs immediately after dying can make the reward feel unnecessarily punishing.
The buffs already have a fixed 1-hour duration, so allowing them to persist through death would make the feature more convenient without significantly changing its balance.
What risks or downsides does it have?
None significant. The duration and Riddler cooldown would remain unchanged.
