I’ve joined a handful of GM events during my time playing on Muh, some I remember in particular were the baby escort, the 4 keys quest, and MVP parties.
However when I participate in these events I always feel disappointed by the payouts and feel discouraged from joining future ones.
For the 4 keys event I didn’t know how the payout system would work, so after 2 hours of questing I was rewarded with a grand total of 6 muh coins I barely managed to steal off the floor.
For the baby escort event I managed to grab a single BSB through sheer luck despite the fact I would’ve been able to farm over 8x that amount in the time spent getting ready for and participating in the event.
And for the MVP party event out of 600 MVPs spread across 80 players I was lucky enough to scrape out 3 BSBs from varmundt mansion MVPs which is a good deal, but I doubt everyone else was nearly as lucky as I was.
My overall experience with GM events is while they have a very fun premise to play, the payout at the end always leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth that makes me reconsider wanting to come back, knowing I could’ve gotten significantly more elsewhere.
I enjoy playing in these unique environments being setup but due to the nature of RPGs having power growth as a core point of satisfaction, I don’t feel satisfied knowing I technically would’ve been much better off elsewhere if I wanted power, cosmetics or most other things.
This feels like a shame given how memorable the events are, it would feel a lot more encouraging to come back if they rewarded more over normal farming rather than less.
Considering their infrequency, I don’t think it would be kill the economy to have a one-time burst of extra goodies every once in a while and would encourage more people to get into them.
In short, please increase the reward payout from GM events to feel more inline with the time spent on them.

I just want to add on today’s MVP event: I play crit inqui. I have to get close (even if my skills are ranged…) to hit anything, not being able to snap in the map (nor teleport?) reduced my chances to get any MVP almost to 0. Got to kill like 3 or 4. Got nothing in return. Left the event after 15min.
A similar event was the Hocus Pocus Event which i did join and enjoyed a lot more.

Just a little note to keep in mind. The Special Weekend Event’s main goals are:
- Having fun together
- Get a chance to get Special Event Costume Box
- Get some Muh Coins
Any innate reward, like item drops is just bonus and absolutely not the purpose of these. Some events do grant these, some don’t.
So if you feel one of the three main points comes short, we’re happy about any feedback on how to make them more enjoyable.
@“Eneru”#1119 we limited movement for Bloody Breakout on purpose, so we get less players who just try to cherry-pick monsters.

@Muh I understand their core goal is to be fun and they succeed in doing so, but it doesn’t get rid of the feeling of knowing I could’ve still had fun and gotten far more rewards elsewhere.
I’m not looking for GM events to be a dedicated way of making money, moreso to avoid the feeling of “wasted time”.

if you feel you wasted your time doing gm events then that means you simply didn’t have fun. it’s not rocket science

Regarding the MVP invasion event, I got 80 Muh Coins and a Costume Box from the event after it ended, from rodex, did not everyone get it?
Also it’s pretty much a free bloody branch party, that by itself is already pretty good.
And like Muh said, big part of it is more for social reasons not for seeking rewards, the purpose of the events is not to replace farming, not everything has to be for zenymaxxing.

This is a personal problem. As what trolls would say, “git gud” or “skill issues”.

@Ado No, i dit not receive anything. Maybe because i didn’t stay until the very end? (stayed like 20min out of the 30min)
In any case, it was frustrating, at least to me.

@Eneru Rewards were sent at the end (same as in the abra event)

I personally see no reason to adjust rewards on events. There are some events I don’t particularly care for, but its not because of the rewards. I just don’t join those ones I don’t enjoy as much. Even still I amass crazy amounts of MuhCoin from doing some GM events and usually a seasonal event or two on the daily. I get plenty to feed my HE BBG needs and restock myself with MuhPoints for the MuhShop when I want/need something like costumes or consumables.
The only thing I would change is that the MVP event requires you to be within like.. 3 cells of the MVP to hit it? Not sure, haven’t really thought this one out. But regardless, ranged get like 80% of the MVPs before melee can even get close, so I sympathize with @“Eneru”#1119. I wouldn’t change the rewards though.
(Also in regards to MVP event.. a couple mobs that don’t normally spawn, spawned. I would remove these as its possible to get items that no one else can get from them. For example a Woomawang spawned and dropped an item that you cant get except from killing a Woomawang.. which doesn’t spawn anywhere)

So I will reject this suggestion as it is. As mentioned before, you all are free to open suggestions about specific events, if you have ideas how to make them more enjoyable (not extra rewards)
