Personally, I thought it was sensible to impose a waiting time for #trade. In this regard, it was an excellent change.
Advantages:
People have become more aware of using the trade channel and there is also a certain appreciation for each sale, because you think carefully about what to offer and take better advantage of the sales space to maximize items that are really worth selling in #trade.
Disadvantage: the time has become too long, because sometimes you have already sold or obtained the desired item that you posted in #trade and still need to wait 5 minutes to be able to upload another #trade.
Suggestion:
Change the time to 3 minutes and add a countdown timer for use. (This way, you would know how long you still need to wait until the next #trade announcement)
