I am going to preface this with as far as I know, the only ways to get chocolate is through an event, such as Valkyrie’s Gift, OBB/OPB, and the new crafting npc. Please do correct me if I’m wrong and they do drop somewhere we can farm them.
At a glance, the mat req’s look totally reasonable, but after breaking down the math, it comes out to an obscene amount of mats.
The bag itself req’s 500 chocolate + 250 handmade chocolate. Chocolate req’s 10 cacao + 5 milk. Handmade chocolate req’s 15 chocolate + 10 cacao + 5 milk.
Here’s a breakdown of the math:
500 chocolate req’s 5000 cacao + 2500 milk.
250 handmade chocolate req’s 3750 chocolate + 2500 cacao + 1250 milk.
3750 chocolate req’s 37,500 cacao + 18,750 milk.
This comes out to a grand total of 45,000 cacao + 22,500 milk. 45,000 cacao is just not feasibly farmable, especially in a short time period. I suggest that either the mat req’s are lowered, or we are given a way to farm chocolates and handmade chocolates. An automated event similar to Valkyrie’s gift, the Halloween porings, or even just making all mobs have a low chance to drop them during the event could work. Thank you for reading and considering!

Tried farming for 30 mins with full drop rate gear (35%) and the grand total I got was like 735 cacaos - taking into account if im bad at farming, let’s say an average/above average of 900-1000 cacaos… that’s like 45 bubblegums at least. Time-wise it is ~24 hours (around 22 hrs and 30 mins i think) of full non-stop farming. Which I don’t think is healthy to condense within a single week. Of course, that said, if you farm with HE BBG, time would be lessened… but would you really buy that much HE BBG for this
Potential issue also could be because yoyo doesn’t even drop this at a guarantee, with 35% dr gear it’s like 58%.

Oh dang, I opened the NPC yesterday and at a glance I was like “is that like 5k cacao? no way I’m farming that much for a meh costume”. And turns out it’s 45k? xD

Yup, i also did the math yesterday when i saw the costume and went “Nah, i’d pass”. 45000 of one item that’s not even 100% drop is just… wow. At least Milk you can buy from NPC.
Edit: I love the idea of all mobs dropping chocolate for a week. 5% or even a bit less would be amazing.

I’m hearing you. ~ I’ll look at it again, it’s still going to require effort either way though.

@Eneru Yeah I like this idea too, but I think that it would be nice if they also dropped handmade chocolates at a lower rate, say 2-3%. Sure, it helps a ton if all mobs drop chocoate, but if it’s just chocolates, that’s still 4250 chocolates at 5% rate. I’d still take that over 45k cacao though. Plus, it gives some extra incentive to get off my butt and farm more. Having all mobs drop would be great too so people aren’t overcrowding a single map for the best spawn/drop rate.

With the new change I believe the total cacaos now is..
choco = 10 x 300 = 3000
handmade: 75(10) + 15(75x10) = 12,000
Total of 15k, assuming miku’s numbers of ~735 (750 for simplicity), 20 bbg, 10 hours to complete before maint
Totally would make some handmade if they came out as [Char name]'s handmade chocolate
