Currently the Party Leader cant be transferred when you are not in the same party with other people (that are in ur party)
this leads to a situation, where if u want to leave party (while you are not in the same map with your other party memeber) you cant disband / delegate the party leader automatically. So this leaves you but no choice to
- kick evey online member on ur party , and then leave OR
- you go to the same map as the party member ..
which both of the solution is kinda pain / hassle to do it ..

Agreed, this can be a pain. Either make so there’s no need to be in same map to transfer lead or that you can at least leave party and have lead randomly be assigned to someone else / instabreak party

In addition it would be nice if u can let same Character from the same Account in the same party

Sorry to necro old thread but I want to bring this suggestion to attention again. There needs to be a better way to transfer party leader without requirement all members in the same map.
For instance, the issue with party leader transfer caused a group of 8-9 players to fail an Alice Twisted Madness instance. We were gathered on the map before MVP npc making preparations to go in and just as all of us were about to go in, me being the party leader got disconnected due to bad network.
By the time Gepard had finished loading and I finally managed to log back in, portal was gone and everyone else but me had went in. Cue me trying to transfer or leave the party so that the others can continue but lo and behold the party transfer only allows if players are on the same map. There were also no votekick or similar systems for them to even force me out of the party so that they can reassign new party leader to continue.
Maybe there was some reason why the party leader transfer system in place is so restrictive which hopefully the GMs can shed some light to but I think it certainly can be improved.

@Emrys Hi @“Muh”#1, would like to verify if this change was reverted? In a recent Alice instance run I ran into the same issue again where I was unable to transfer PL to members that had entered portal already and I dced.
On the same note, I also noticed that most if not all instances seem to have a PL change and invite members restriction now where PL change is prevented while instance is active and new member invitation cannot be done when instance is active. Prior to this, these restrictions only applied to certain instances such as constellation tower but now it seems like it’s being applied to all instances. May I know if this change was intentional?
Another thing to note is that, party modifications like PL change in Alice do not fail with an error prompt in the chat i.e, it just fails silently where nothing happens when I try to change PL whereas for other instances it does mention that I am not allowed to make party modifications in this map etc etc.
PS. If this is a bug, please let me know and I can make a separate bug report for it to keep track.

@Emrys yes, if some options vanished, it was not intended

@Muh got a question, is party leader change on Constellation Tower disabled as intended or its a bug ?
