Hello,

i would like to suggest that the displaying of how many monsters left in Illusions dungeons and MVP spawn announce, only appears to player that are really active in the dungeon (by example, if the player killed a monster the last 2 or 5 past minutes). So it avoid people to camp with afk character, just waiting for mvp announce that other people kill 1800 monsters and just take the mvp, then afk again.

Best regards,

A flooffy fox ~

While bosses are free for all, those are a little special and require players to work towards the goal to spawn them. Camping and waiting for others to do the work is extremely lame so I like this suggestion.

But players will just kill 1 monster every few minutes which isn’t much different from staying idle. So I’m not sure this solution would work. And I’ve got nothing else to propose.

@Misao This is the issue. You can even use something like blade dance, or a homun for 30 mins to avoid the afk. Isn’t taking damage also considered an active state?

Make MVP spawn to a player with the highest kill count first. This eliminates afk players and introduces competition for active players.
Personally, I would not be offended if MVP spawns to someone who killed 1700 mobs of 1800 required and I only killed 100, seems fair.

AFK farmers are a real problem, but a problem with no easy solutions as the problem lies more often than not in those players’ mindset rather than the server/game.
In fact, I’d say that most “solutions” to it actually do not solve the problem at all.
